Savannah Faun | 2014

Process:
Zbrush Sculpt, Zbrush FiberMesh Hair, Zbrush/Photoshop Texture, Topogun Retopology, Zbrush Posing, Zbrush Render

The Savannah Faun was my first Zbrush creation in a SCAD class project to create any human/humanoid. We got to draw up our
own concepts and create 2D turn arounds before we started in on Zbrush.
My concept was this wild faun of the Savannah. I fell in love with the idea of the
lions mane head piece . The irony that instead of a wolf in sheep's clothing, this is a sheep in wolf's clothing.
A Faun in Lion's clothing.
She is an antelope faun, to fit within the savannah theme. This project was so
much fun to create, from learning how to handle the musculature of her legs and the fiber mesh hair, to just bringing the entire idea to life.
